it would be great to get our hands on an audiotape driving tour of LA like the ones Reyner Banham follows in the movie! maybe there could be some kind of tie-in field(road) trip..
Sean, you should get in touch with Allyson form Angela Hanley gallery. She did a project for the Carmada exhibition at the MAK Center (Sonja curated) driving through the same path that Banham did in the film.
I think Elise has a great idea.
This class is now in the planning stage, after deliberation at The Public School committee meeting 01. The person who proposed the class has been emailed to finalize details.
There will be a screening on August 7 at 8pm.
Depending on projector availability and lighting conditions, this may be outdoors. (More info will follow)
