  1. brilliant class! i hope it starts ASAP!

  2. SteveA

    Sounds cool, I’d be interested.

  3. I hope this course and the “how to become a body without organs” course can coincide.

  4. mario

Robert, I definitley hope so. It sounds like you’re proposing a colloqium of sorts and not a class per se?

  5. a colloquium would be good: a series of interlocking, interlacing classes, discussions, and presentations on and around d&g. this would be fabulous. thanks for getting this d&g thing going. -robert

How about the afternoon of Sunday, November 16?

    One thing:
The S&M class (which itself could be very Deleuzian) is 7-9pm on that day. This information only matters if you want to go to both classes, and if you (a) think 2 in one day is better or (b) think that would be too tiring.

Anyway, in the absence of any objections, I will tentatively start scheduling for 1-5pm or so on Nov 16.

    D.A.N., sounds good to me

  8. what are the dates and amount of meetings? i have to, want to, go to both. i need arrange my schedule …

  9. D.A.N.

I’m sorry, I didn’t make it clear that this class would meet once.
But ideally it could dovetail with the class you’ve proposed Robert

  10. the body w/o organs can meet once as well: twice would be ideal: 4 times a dream. -robt
PS: i can scan my own books now, even.

  11. mario

Robert, I don’t have a scanner. . can you scan the essay and make it available as a PDF? Its a short essay. . one class should suffice. . . merci

If you are coming to tomorrow’s (Sunday’s) class: “Postscript on Control Societies” you might need directions!

After doing some renovations while we were at LACMA, The Public School is settled in a new location. The address is 972B Chung King Road, which is almost directly across the road from our previous location. The tricky part is that you have to enter through the back door, which is accessible from an alley behind the building. As you walk down the alley, keep your eye out for a big TELIC sign on the ground - the door next to it is the entrance and it will be open. Let us know if you have any anxieties about finding it, but we promise it will work out.

We actually have a mailbox at 972 Chung King Road with a map that explains all of this too.

  14. will there be a follow up to this brilliant class that mario held? i should hope so.
    -robert
