yay! not a speakeasy is the best teacher, and I can’t wait to take her course. I will invite everyone I know, and I’m sure the turn-out will be mad-crazy w/waiting lists! xo

i would like to knit a pig.

  3. KBongard

this sounds great! I need a place to consult my knitting ideas with fellow knitters. I better get in!

    mmm…textiles!

  5. We’re particularly interested in offering classes that aren’t easily found elsewhere. Can we frame this class in a way that gives it more of an arts context or particular focus? Perhaps instead of super-basic knitting it could focus on specific forms (animals?), or the knitting how-to could be combined with a survey of knitted structures in sculpture/art, or it could revolve around a collaborative knitted piece, or…. ?

i want to take this class!

  7. We are currently looking for a teacher for this class - if the original proposer (notaspeakeasy) or anyone else would like to teach, or has a suggestion and contact info for someone who can, please let us know by leaving a comment!

As an artist who uses sculptural knit forms to create large-scale installations, I’m happy to add any “fine arts” input to the class. I would love to see this class come to fruition!
