Learn about the evolution of life over the past 4 billion years, all the way up through the evolution of humanity. This class will provide a basic framework for understanding the entire history of earth including human history. We will also focus on various fringe theories in science and history, including the Vendian period, the water ape hypothesis, the possibility of advanced prehistoric civilizations, the SaharAsia hypothesis of historical civilization's beginnings, the effects of the Phoenetic alphabet and writing in general on societies, Druids, Libyans, Egyptians and Phoenecians in the Americas 4,000 years ago, the role of secret societies throughout history, the rise of the pirates as the hegemons of the modern world, the conspiracy against free energy, and our potential science fiction futures.
