In this 4-class series, participants will be guided through creating a life that is balancing and healing on a deep level using the ancient healing science of Ayurveda. We will learn effective and simple ways to use food and daily practices as medicine and how to be our own empowered self-healer. Participants are asked to commit to all 4 classes so we can grow together and build on previous shared knowledge and experience. What is Ayurveda? Ayurveda is the complete holistic healing system of India, which incorporates a variety of healing modalities to maintain and restore your natural state of radiant health. This can include individualized nutrition, herbs, healthy daily practices, meditation and yoga, as well as other sensory therapies. In Ayurveda we see health as the result of living in a state of harmony inside and outside ourselves, and in that state of harmony disease cannot take root. Instead of just taking a pill to treat symptoms, create a life that actually heals you, every day.
