On Tuesday evening 15/09, this safari class explores an area in the western periphery of Brussels called Neerpede.
Since a few years, IBGE/BIM  and the Flemish Land Agency VLM have been working together on an ambitious interregional masterplan for the redevelopment of this peri-urban zone in the west of Brussels. The strategic objectives consiste in preserving and optimising the landscape and its ecological and cultural heritage. While at the same time developing the agriculture in the area, however in direct link with the Brussels food market which should allow organic farming methods to develop.
